Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Emmaus church is our mission to the our nation and world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. In doing so, each Covenant Partner of the Body of Christ has a Spiritual Gift empowered by the Holy Spirit to be used for God’s Glory. We are here to help everyone discover God’s calling in our life. 

 

Outreach

Emmaus Church is thrilled to be part of the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for God’s kingdom. As Matthew 28:18 and Acts 1:8 says, we are God’s witnesses in the world. To share the Gospel to every nation. We support missionaries here in the states and worldwide with our prayers and when needed goods and funds.  We encourage all of our Covenant Partners to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in their own community.

 

Music & Drama – Rebuilding due to COVID

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Our C.P’s are involved in our music and drama ministry. In the age of Covid, we are rebuilding our teams  of worship and praise. At the present we are using song videos and tracks during our worship services. 
 

Greeters – Rebuilding due to COVID

 Here at Emmaus Church we always want our friends and guests to feel welcome. Our all of our C.P’s are greeters, and are here to assist and inform you of events, information and direction during your time at Emmaus Church. Our goals are
Make everyone feel WELCOMED to the church.
Let the newcomers feel WANTED, not just welcomed.
Let everyone feel they BELONGED to the Church; not simply visitors for a day.
Help everyone to get in touch with the love of God and the blessings of our church.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook and “X” (formally Twitter) feed for additional church communication.

 

Ministry Counseling

Relationships can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage and relationships.  Our role here at Emmaus Church is to listen, understand, help, and encourage struggling couples, singles alike with God’s Word,
 
Our goal is to equip men and women in their marriages, and guild in repairing relationships, if possible. In order to find fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse, with their children,
 
And we can not forget our blessed singles.
Our goal is to aid them in their singleness whether it living-single and or dating. God’s Word always has an answer.
 
Along with the above, we will not overlook our divorces, widows, widowers, with addition to any, health, financial, emotional situations that we all go through. WE ARE HERE TO HELP!

 

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Emmaus Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each 2nd and 4th Tuesday online we gather together during this evening service, as a family of warriors in praying,

Using our Sunday prayer list and request from our prayer boards, To  sick and shut-in’s of Emmaus Church and outside Emmaus Church. World and current events are prayed over during this time of gathering.

Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastor,, ministers of our church and leadership, along with a list of of our C.P’s with any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
